The way it is played this song, is truly beautiful, you can feel the feeling that they wish to convey, meaning through the song. Although not understand Korean, I can feel the sense of sadness and despair. By the faces they make, I can guess that they will put a great effort to sing and feeling the song, the way they play, not everyone does, well at least I can not xD. LEDApple all their songs are great. ^^
When the song finishes, we go to the Hanbyul who was at the bed. Then we notice that the girl is in the bed too. (Wait, who’s that girl!!, tell me who’s that giiiirll!!) Hanbyul looks cutely grateful and hugs the girl (><) but the girl says "Sorry" again. WHY GURL!! Then we saw one tear streaming down Hanbyul’s face which aches my heart.
So that’s my review, I love the MV and the jokes above are because I love LEDApple so much. Please don’t feel resentment =)
Big LEDA from Turkey. =) Dilara
Wow sorry for the big spam, XD I hope you’ll read this =)
Part3 continued-->
Then we have our Leader, YoungJun suiting up handsomely. Then going into a car. While fixing the mirror, Hyoseok becomes the character.
Hyoseok, rides the car, looking stressed, getting speedy.
Then for Kyumin’s rap sequence, Kyumin takes charge of the character. Which I must say, I think he’s the best actor in this MV. I can definitely feel the pain he’s suffering. We see parts where there is a girl sitting besides him in the car. He sings looking to the image of girl.
Then we have KwangYeon. We see the girl too, Girl says "Sorry" and gets out of the car, Kwangyeon is tearing his hair, looking devastated, or should I say ,try to look devastated.
I’m not saying his acting is bad, he was great at "someone met by chance" but I must say in here I wanted to pinch his cheeks and give him bread. He was like a boy who’s toy is taken. XD The girls is looking older than him too. I can’t believe he’s 93er.
The song elevates, and makes me feel sad. =(
So I decided to post my review part by part. review continued-->
He’s clearly not happy, and he’s depressed. We see the members doing their things, perfectly. Wait, doesn’t Kwangyeon’s job is playing bass. Yes, but since he’s a boss,he has got two jobs. The other one is posing to camera while looking pretty. XD
OK. Hanbyul goes into bathroom and changes into Keonu. Who looks charismaticly to the mirror then shaving. And Keonu don’t think that I didn’t notice that you nearly cut yourself, your eye gave away =). Dives into a bowl(tank?) of water with a camera at bottom, that everyone has one in their home. Then walks down the steps, perfectly dry and stylized hair XD
Then we have members singing, playing with their outfits that I would like to say I’m happy that they’re not pink, unlike the first outfit they wore at the comeback.
Before reviewing the video, I must say I love this song. It’s different from what they’ve have until now. This song gives a feeling of a drama OST. =)The unique voice of Hanbyul really suits this song.
For the MV, LEDApple’s members are one person and each one of them acts one part of the character’s life. Actually its a great idea for them to be red-headed. See they’re acting the same person, No?
While the oldest trio of our apples acts the house part, the younger ones are reenacting the car part, which is ironic XD But all of our apples are over 18 now, so that’s OK I think. I don’t know when people in Korea can take driver’s licence though. Back to video.
MV starts with Hanbyul waking up with their song "Time’s Up". I must say this song is really appropriate for alarm tone. I have this song as my waking alarm. It fits perfectly for my "5 minute more" demands.
my review is long,it won’t accept so please go here to read my whole review. -> http://dilarashi.livejournal.com/3478.html
"SADNESS" promotes the theme of old school korean music. It’s definitely a very cathchy that once you start listening, you cannot stop and the rhythm will just keep playing in your mind. The music video might not show all these but just the song is good enough~ however, the music video is a must!Because we have to see our boys,of cause!Love our best unique bread loving group forever!!!
Each theme of the songs have a special meaning, that is how I feel, "sadness" as the title says>. <, Expresses an immense sadness. "What should i do if you left me?, Everything’s a nightmare, you’ll come back when i wake up, come back to my side" really is a beautiful song, reflecting the feeling that people have to be left by our couple, and then suddenly spring to mind all those memories that live together with our couple. I really love this song, from my point of view, they excel in each of his songs, because they get a feeling you can feel trough the songs.LEDApple has entered my list of favorite bands.i really enjoy it ^^ Fighting!
LEDApple’s SADNESS was a catchy song with a video that was divided into the performance and the storyline, which is a very typical thing for an idol group to do. The performance segment was composed of awkward close-ups that were abused. However, it was enough to make the LEDAs enjoy it anyway. The storyline segment was an easily understandable plot about a breakup. As for their interpretation of this, three members tried their hand at acting: Hanbyul did a good job at the first part of the video, and after the three members that spruced up their already perfect faces and drove , Kyumin performed his rap, which is probably the best part of the video, followed by Kwangyeon, who looked genuinely sad but for an entirely different reason: like he dropped his bread. It was the last scene that left people confused and probably frustrated. But overall, they gave a decent performance. And though there are times that the music video would make you feel awkward, it’s entertaining to watch.
First thing that needs to be said is that just like the other LEDApple’s videos, "Sadness" has a great storyline, quite easy to follow, even for people who don’t speak Korean. In addition, the plot really matches the lyrics and the music - and that doesn’t always happen in Korean MVs! But, to tell the truth, who haven’t ever felt these feelings, showed in the video? Anger, heartbreak, loneliness, and the title of the song, "sadness" - that’s just how the real life is. Especially the ending, this bittersweet, surprising turn of events, this masterpiece, had left me speechless.
I totally loved the idea of changing the members for different scenes; that way all of them had their chance to act, to show their individual colors. The whole story has gotten more interesting.
The only tiny problem that most of the people agree to, is the lack of choreography, that we already saw during their live performances. It’s great enough to deserve a short moment in the MV~
Firstly, I really think they should’ve shown the fantastic choreograph in the music video, however, everything else was really well done. I love the storyline even though I was confused at first but once you see that teardrop, that’s when everything becomes explained. The song is so genuinely catchy yet sad at the same time. I loved the set of where you could see the vocalist and the band members playing their instruments. It’s a good transition from the storyline. The charms of LedApple definitely shine in this music video.
Where is the digital guitar and touch screen dj emulator ? Why wasn’t the choreography shown in the mv ? It’s great to see YoungJun playing a guitar with strings and being able to see KeonU’s other talents though. Time is Up being played at the beginning, the focusing and unfocusing of the members, the onstage scenes, the catchy beats and harmonious melodies, the amazing vocals and rapping, the drastic change in their concept, the great sounds the instruments make all intertwined to produce this mv. There’s no words to describe this. Ledapple has improved alot ever since their debut. The words ’mianhe’ and hanbyul’s tear, it was only then I realized the actual storyline of the mv. The mv is nice, simple and clean, and ledapple’s charms have certainly appealed to me.
I love the mv and how they put "Time’s up" in the beginning! They’re so creative and know what’s considered "cool" in this part of time ^^ I love the catchy beats in this song that give it a unique taste! It’s very catchy and even the adults like it.. It was very cool and interesting how they put different members’ perspectives into the music video and how they added some scenes of them performing on stage. It seems like old and new music squashed together to start a new trend. LedApple is an actually talented group+band unlike other groups that can’t even sing (lol). Anyway, I really loved the mv and I am very impressed at their creativity ^^
This music video is amazing. I loved how they added in a part of Time’s Up into the beginning. It was a great way of tying together these two songs. I totally love this song. I have it constantly on replay on my i-pod! Cannot wait to see what else LEDApple has in store for us!
The MV is awesome. The idea of putting "Time’s up" at the begining is great! I love the way all member are shown in this video. All of you have so much charisma.
The most important thing. I don’t speak Korean so I don’t understand lyrics. But the first time I heard this song I obviously felt the emotion you’re sending. AND after seeing MV I was like "whoa! they’re awesome". You can really show emotions. I mean the way I felt without understanding lyrics just seeing the MV is something I can’t explain very well.
*REVIEW CONTINUED*
The song makes me feel very comfortable with myself, not just the song if not all group members have something special inside them, because they give a special touch to the song, for example kwangyeon, always gives every effort and his passion in playing bass, and also Hyoseok, he has much talent around, and that will be the best drummer I’ve ever met. And not only them, if not all group members are talented, so I never get tired of listening, I can only say that they are great. I know I will be with them until the end, I will give my full support as a fan. The song is great and of course the video too, is fully adapted. I am very happy for them. LEDApple fighting!^^
