- When Blue was finally released, I kept pausing the video. Why? It was because I couldn’t breathe when watching the Big Bang members come onto the screen. The song was really relaxing and it went in beautiful rhythm. Hearing their voices singing again, made me feel so happy. BIG BANG members’ comeback. All 5 together. Watching this one video, I completely forgot about the accidents in 2011. This is the power of BigBang. Blue is still my favorite song from the Alive album. I listen to it everyday, while having the MV played in my head. The mood is perfect on anyday to listen to it. Plus, the scenery of where they were was breathtaking considering I’d never been to New York.

- this was the first MV released among all the songs in ALIVE album. i love the way the mv was filmed by just using a few color tone only. and the view of the city - new york match with the lyrics of this song too~ the feel of blue and sadness. another point is about the song, since the song is too great, it is not necessary to make a complex MV. and what they did is just perfect enough~ good job big bang, good job YG~ saranghae~

Blue MV Review:
In the beginning of the music video, I just want to ask is GD being chased or is he chasing someone? As a non korean speaker, by looking at the video, I think that they were all remembering where they went with the girl. Because the video would show the girl at that place and then a Big Bang member would show up at that same place but by himself. You would think if all the members had that same girl in their hearts. But near the end, they are all running again. But to where or to who? I love the song. It’s nice and slow. It is like a ballad with a kick to it. The concept and video shooting made this video great. You can see all the old buildings and the members remember going to places like that. I would rate this a 4 out of 5. Because I did not seem to get the video. I do not know if my prediction was right or not. So it took me a while to find the plot and meaning of the song and video. -

Three words to describe this MV.
Hardships and trials can’t be avoided but can be overcome. That’s what this MV teaches us. That even though we are in the pits of despair, life still has that brighter side or should I say, a lighter shade of blue. BIGBANG has risen to all the problems they had encountered and showing a stronger and fiercer BIGBANG. -

- About the music video, I love how the coloring and lightning are well-controlled. The tone of the color is mostly blue and it just give our eyes a soothing feelings watching it. I love even when there’s sunlight, they tried to make it dimmer to follow up the color scheme which is blue. I like how there’s some smoky mist at the beginning giving a perfect touch to the song. In my opinion, the stroy line is more like Big Bang members are trying to hold some reminiscene from the past. They are tring to recall some old memories they had which are precious. This is a simple music video, but yet a remarkable one because of the deepest and most meaningful lyris of the song.

I want to keep my review short and simple.
The first music video released by YG is ’Blue’. It’s an appropriate idea to release ’Blue’ as the first one. We all know Big Bang had gone through a lot of circumstances especially what had happened to them last year. Blue wrap up everything. I must say this song is truly magical because it brings us a bittersweet and at the same time peacefulness feelings. You might look at it boring at the first time you listen to it, but trust me, give it a second chance, and you will fall for this song. The melancholy feelings are well delivered by each members, and their sincerity, I am sure everyone can feel it. Everyone that has gone through hardest time in their life might find that this song can quite relate to them. No matter what happens, never give up and must always look thing on brighter side, that’s what I think in my own perspective about this song. -
